Newcastle Central Cost and Gosford Run 13th November 2011

Newcastle Tuggerah Wollombi Drive.
Two dates that I can go are
30th October 2011 preferred date or
13th November 2011
Planning on another drive same as the one Smokey and I took On IMD 2011
But we are hoping for better weather this time.
Plan trip start at Glendale shopping centre 8:30am arrive for coffee an chat before leaving.
Leave 9:15am traveling the western side of the Lake to Toronto, Morisset then to Wyee
From Wyee we will be traveling along the Hue Hue road to Tuggerah Mc Donald’s.
This is where we hope to meet up with the Gosford and Central cost Moke drivers.
Leave Tuggerah Mc Donald’s 11:15am.
We will the travel to Yarramalong a nice country drive finishing at Wollombi for Lunch.
We can pick up at any location on the way all we need to know is who and where.
You can bring your own or you can buy something at the pub.
After lunch we can decide on the time we leave and what way we will travel home.
I will be traveling Home through Cessnock, Kurri Kurri. Anyone can follow me this way or they can travel their own way.
The Mokes from Gosford and the central cost may like to travel home through Gosford this can be talked about over lunch.

If you know of a Moke in your area contact them and let them know what is on.
If you do not have a Moke on the road and would like to tag along you are welcome as are mini drivers.

My confidence in appache has been a little battered of late, but I've just looked at where Wollombi is on the map, and was wondering if perhaps at a later date (probably next year now considering the proximity to christmas) you might be interested in organising a run at your end, I'll organise a run at my end, and we meet at a pub or somewhere in the middle for lunch? (sorry if I'm hijaking your thread)

Like I said, if I had a bit more confidence in appache at the mo, I'd rustle up the troops and we'd be there to have lunch with you (only, I cant do the 30th - 28th is supposed to be my last day of work, big celebration on 29th, headache/woozy feeling anticipated for 30th!)

That is not a bad idea at all .
You can pick up the Sydney group when passing through
If the 13th November is good for you we will make that the day.
Or we can do a run to Wollombi some time next year.

G'day Woody

It has been ages since I looked on the forum, and even longer since Middie has been out of the garage. Sounds like good fun, and Tuggerah McDonalds is about 5 minutes down the road.

I'll have to wheel Middie out into the sunshine and see how she is feeling. I'll keep an eye out as to finalised dates etc and try to fire the old girl up (as well as start Middie).

We'll see how we go Woody - who would've thought something that everyone said would be so simple, like replacing wheel studs would turn into such an epic repair! We're now waiting on parts - rubbers for the brake cylinders. If appache is alive and well we'll be in! I'll keep you updated
