Rough idea will be

We will meet at the gap (exact place tba), before traversing Mt Nebo Road to Mt Glorious, then circumnavigate Lake Wivenhoe in a clockwise direction with a stop for a supplied sausage sizzle (bread, sausage, onion, sauce - byo drinks) at either Wivenhoe dam, or Somerset Dam, depending on time.  Return on Mt Glorious Rd to Samford village, where we can adjourn for a coffee/feed at a cafe/pub or go our separate ways.

Hope to do a dummy run beforehand to gauge times.

Departure time from the Gap will be 930am.

Was out for a drive in Red Rooster today with Andy W and Yorkie after visiting the bug eyed sprite show day adjacent to the story bridge.  Good weather today.  Times for the "Mule Train"

Meeting at Cnr of Glenaffric St and Waterworks Rd (BWS Car Park opposite The Gap Police Station) and departing from there at 930am.

Travelling Mount Nebo Road to a small grassed area/rest stop just north of the intersection of Mount Nebo Road and Wivenhoe-Somerset Road, with an approximate time of departing there being 1045am.

Turning around, going south, and circumnavigating Lake Wivenhoe in a clockwise direction, with a stop at Logan Inlet Recreation Area for lunch. Back onto the Brisbane Valley Highway, Continuing to Somerset Dam on the Esk Kilcoy Road, then back onto Wivenhoe Somerset Road heading south.  Back onto Mt Glorious Road, and staying on that Road until Samford Village.  This is where we will pull up stumps and bid farewell.  There is a hotel, and a number of cafes and pizza shops if you want to put the feed bag on and continue socialising, or continue on your merry way.

Will send out messages to some of the old crew via sms to give them the heads up.  Spread the word.
