Hi Everyone
I took Madge for its first night drive last night the only problem I had was that the
speedo lights are very dim even though I replaced the globes with new ones
my question is has any one found led globes that will fit the globe holders on the speedo
and has it improved the lighting output and also can you still buy the globe holders
thanks
Kell

Hi,

I have seen a nice adaption where the owner removed the glass and fitted a small LED strip light around the behind the face to give a very clear bright view of the dash at night.

The globe replacement LEDs are available on eBay apparently and  have seen someone at swap meets selling something that looks like it might work, probably the same ones.

I recently purchased new globe holders, he just had enough(7off) and they took a little wedge base globe rather that the Edison screw type.
Ring around the Speedo and Gauge shops local, best of luck
