Have you advertised it for sale yet?

No not yet.
I want to tidy up a couple of bits of paint first and get a new warrant of fitness for it.

Well the time has come............tonight ST sold on Trademe    :'( :'(
Im waiting for the purchaser to contact me and come to pick him up.

Its been a lot of fun here - Ive saw the other day Ive been on here since Feb 2008 which has seen a few major events in the Green household.
So thank you for listening to my ramblings, giving ides and advice during STs tidy up and making sure my family and I were ok when the earth shook a bit here.
Its been great.

Oh no, I almost want to shed a tear. You will be missed Martin, you have been a great part of this family. Talking at our recent Moking Down Under event, I know  my thoughts are shared within our group. Also don't forget, if you start to miss a Moke too much all you need to do is. Jump on a plane and come to Aus. There will be Moke seats available for you.

Hope you get to find yourself a new project that your wife is comfortable in.
Have you thought about restoring old Army Tanks ......

Cheers

Mixed feelings here Martin. I'm glad you were able to get it sold relatively quickly so that you can move on, but very sad to see you go from our little community. You'll certainly be missed  :'(.

Best of luck finding a new car project that the whole family can enjoy. If you don't forget about us too soon, feel free to keep us in the loop with the new project in the Sump.

As Dev said, if you get Moke-sick and find yourself in Aus, let us know and I'm sure we'll be able to hook you up  :). The kids and I had a great time enjoying your generous hospitality over there a couple of years back and I'd love the chance to return the favour if you ever get over here.

Hi Guys
After looking at a freinds 1275GT and talking Minis and Mokes yesterday I was having a flick through this thread.
I had so much fun rebuilding that car.....and am still checking Trademe incase it comes up for sale.

Great to see some old names still here, and lots of new ones.

I have migrated onto 2 wheels now with a 1974 Honda C90 that I tidied up and ride daily and a Suzuki DR650RSE which still has some work needed.
I would love to have ST back in the garage though......

Martin,

nice to see you are still around and checking in. Are you back in your house?

There was a NZ Moke owner here a couple of weeks ago.

How is the wife handling the idea of getting ST, or another Moke, back in the garage?

Yes all settled for 3 or so years which is really nice.

Wonder if it was STs new owner?

I havent broached the Moke subject, but if ST came back on the market there would be some serious discussion!

Good to see you're still around Martin.

I'm afraid if you're still checking in here though, your addiction obsession interest is not cured yet  :D.
