Hi,

as you move the stalk assembly down, watch that the two pins to activate the indicator cancel are still reaching where they need to be.

I have the lights flash function restored, tapped down the nylon bush in the steering column 3-4mm which was enough for the switches to slide down a little further. And the indicator cancel works and for both directions. ;D

Mighty Moke has been purring along without issue for awhile now, apart from Oil and Coolant change not much required. However my Fuel gauge has always read incorrectly:- 1/4 tank was close to empty.. I found that my Sender float was 1/5th full of fuel so I replaced that and I found my Voltage Regulator was stuffed so I replaced that. Resistance test now looks a lot more accurate, so real life test will be the sealer. Also doing some exhaust repairs next week in preparation for International Moke Day.
Also need to get a new Fuel cap - non Locking, anyone have recommendation of Brand and Part number - Side Fill.

Not Moke related but a piece of work. Earlier this year pre covid I was lucky enough to go to New Zealand for a couple of weeks and got to the Wellington Museum where they have a Britten. I saw it doing some laps at Phillip Island back quite a few years ago but awesome seeing it up close.

My studs for the Canopy on the sidescreens were riveted with the Snapcaps covering the rivets on the outside. Not great as UV eventually stuffed them up. I did a little searching and came across the Studs with longer poles as standard ones were too short. They were also Stainless and Black.

A bit tricky installing as I only have the hammer type flaring tool, but a spare pair of hands and a small g-clamp did the trick.

Hi,

they look pretty. :) A nicer finish than most.

Do you have a name or supplier you feel like sharing with us?

Can you please post up a picture of the side curtain  un-clipped and or maybe the inside view of the fitting? I would like to see how you have matched the pieces.
