Posting a photo
« on: July 14, 2013, 07:35:54 PM »
Good Evening,

I am a dead set newbie to mokes, however I have always loved them and just recently I acquired one. (Two actually, one for my daughter and one for me).
I would like to post a photo of the engine onto the site so I can ask what is missing, however, whenever I press the insert image button, all that happens is [img] [img] is inserted and I cannot attach the picture.
Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Thanks Heaps
Peter

Hi Peter,

Welcome to the Forum  :)

We would love to see some photos of your Moke/s. Using the insert image button won't work. If you read through this "How To" thread here you should be able to work out how it's done. https://www.mokeforum.com.au/index.php/topic,7527.0.html

Hi,

The issue was 711Pete was still in the limbo class for new users on here so I have updated him to Standard and this should correct the problems he was having.

Post the photos in the gallery first, then use the BB codes not the img bit.

Hi,

If you have uploaded your photos into the Gallery then select the photo for edit and copy the line of code in the BBcode box and paste that into your article as Shorty suggests. If your photos are hosted elsewhere, like Flickr or Photobucket, then you need to copy the URL for the image(i.e. http://www.somewhere.com/image.jpg) and paste that between the IMG and /IMG tags that you see when you press the Image icon.

so what you should end up with is (replace the '()' brackets with '[]' brackets).
