About The Rules and Gudelines of the Mokes inc. Forum
« on: January 02, 2014, 11:17:15 AM »
This Forum was founded on a simple principle of Play Nice in an environment analogous to meeting with friends in the garage or club house to share our knowledge and enjoyment of Mokes and for the most part Play Nice still applies today. As people have come and gone and we have grown in size and experience, the need for more defined rules and a code of conduct is obvious. However we do not wish to be defined by a endless list of rules for every circumstance, but rather that the majority of members are people who do not need a code of conduct to know how to be a valued contributor here.

This Forum is run by the Mokes Inc. organisation and your registration and involvement with this Forum is a privilege and not a right, and is conditional on that your participation must not be detrimental to the enjoyment and involvement of others nor does it undermine the quality or ideals of the Forum. Failure to abide by this will see your participation restricted or removed and consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure this forum is not disrupted or abused in any way.

The Forum has evolved as a place of quality and substance in the education and assistance of people interested in Mokes with a friendly community feel and makes no apologies for not being a social media type style site with little substance. The Forum has fairly specific objectives to deliver a quality knowledge based Moke community and does not desire to be everything to everyone, leaving those other opportunities for other people to develop in their own way.

Whether you feel you need rules or a code of conduct or not, please take the time to read the various posts that have been put together as they are mostly drawn from our experiences, and that of other forums, on what makes the Forum a positive place for the majority of people. Active Moderation takes place on this Forum to enure the quality and friendliness of the Forum is maintained however moderation of your posts is best done before you press the Submit or Post button.

We aim to provide a friendly and positive environment for people share their enjoyment of Mokes that encourages people to feel welcome to contribute their experiences in a respectful and community minded spirit.
