Hi Stocky

The other way to read unread posts is if the Moke ICON on the left next to the topic eg Around the Garage  is yellow not grey
you can click on it and it will show unread posts in that section of the board.

Maybe some one could leave a number I can ring for assistance as I can't find my name at the top.  Also someone may have explained but what do the numbers under the names mean. I think mine was 22 ???

Hi Stocky
The numbers under your name is the number of times that you posted on the forum
The top right in the header you should have Hello Stocky
under that you should have unread post since last visit.

To see the information in the top right corner as being described by Woody you need to make a change to your profile that is not available under the new theme so as a work around you need switch back to the original theme, make the change and then switch back to this theme.

Or you could wait for a little while while I figure out how to make it work under this new theme.

The Workaorund.

1. Select Profile from the top menu.

2. Select Look and Layout from the menu on the left in your profile.

3. On the first line, Current Theme, select the word Change to select a different theme.
4. 2nd Theme down, under the heading 'SMF Default Theme - Curve', select the 'Use this Theme' link.

5. The screen colours and look will change to the standard theme and you will see in the top right corner an image of a downward pointing  '\/' to the right of the words Australian Moke Forum.

6. Click on this '\/' emblem and it will show the 'Hello Stocky' over on the top left corner along with 'Show Unread Posts' etc.

7. Now Click on the Change link again on your profile page and then select 'Use This Theme' under the 1st sectoin 'Forum or Board Default'.

8. This will bring you back to this new Orange theme and you will see the 'Hello Stocky' in the top right of the screen.

Hi Stocky,

I have changed your theme back to Curve, so you should be at Terry's step 5. Expand your info section at the top so your name etc shows, and then someone will change you back to Havvo. Hopefully the change at the top will stay! ;)

Hi,

I changed things so that you or anyone can change the forum theme back to the default one to make the change described.

I have done step 7 for you. Do you see some Orange text in the top right corner of the Mokes on the Beach that says Hello Stocky?

Regards,
Terry

Hi,

I have managed to fix this issue which is caused by a little piece of code that only shows the information in the top right hand corner if you have an Avatar( picture in your profile) selected. So now I have hacked the code so that everyone that is logged in will see the 'Greeting' in the top right.
