Sydney to Hobart who is going
« on: July 28, 2014, 01:20:29 PM »
Just trying to work out who is going down to Tazzy from the sydney group. As my family will be traveling with me this time and flying back from Hobart. I intend to get on the boat on the 27/02/2015 so will be leaving on 26/02 which gives me two days to arrive in time and not rushed. Will be coming back on the Tuesday 10/03 on the boat that way still no rushing around. Getting home about thursday the 12/03. Any body else is welcome to tag along from other states or places.
Both boat trip at night

Cheers Shorty  :)

Great news Shorty, you will enjoy the whole experience. Faye and I came back from Adelaide last week on the Spirit, perfect trip other than it was so smooth that there wasn't enough rocking to put me to sleep.
Also thanks for starting this Topic.

Hi Shorty,

I will be heading down to Tassie. Unfortunately it doesn't look like our timing will line up on the way down but might be able to line something up for the return trip. As I firm up details I will keep you in the loop

Hi Shorty,

I'll most likely head down on the 1st of March. We sail on the 4th and return on the 8th but I will be hanging in Melbourne for a few days before heading back.

We will also be on the Spirit on the 27th with Gulliver and trailer :)
Perhaps we can tag along for the Albury to Melbourne Hume leg , Or even better, via Yarra Glen and lunch at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery  ;D ;D mmmmmmm.

Returning probably 12th or 16th March.

Our Daughter, Son in law, and 1/4 pint will be there for most of the Hobart Spectacular in PRU. Possibly the same time as you Ryan.

Well have just booked all the travel details to Devenport from Melbourne and back again and flights for the ladies. Also spoke to Sue at the Hobart airport caravan park and that is also good to go. The other sites that we are staying at are to be confirmed by Rod in August.
Looking forward to the trip.

Meet you off the boat and the others hopefully.
You will recognise me as being in a moke, unless it's raining, haha.

Not sure what moke will be there as I have two to choose from. The wife and daughter can go in style with a roof or canopy. But we will be there in a moke.
Cheers Shorty  :) see you there Ratty
