Thomas to Tamworth on working holiday
« on: March 24, 2017, 05:21:53 PM »
Left Adelaide on 23 March 2017 with the current plan as follows

1. Adelaide to Melb work in Melb until Sunday
2. Leave for Tamworth using the terry itinerary to get to Tamworth
3. Tamworth to Sydney on closing day of Tamworth work in Syd for a week and then back to Adelaide.

Stage one complete with getting to Adelaide Melbourne. Thomas went well, was cold in the morning but all good. Took about 10 hours to get to Melb but a fair whack of that time was stuck in traffic from about Melton and as I decided to call in to the orphanage there was even more traffic. Got to the orphanage where terry gave thomas' some TLC, deep down he has a soft spot for thomas.

So spending a couple of days wearing the green uniform and I can see thomas from my window. I don't think this car park would have seen too many mokes but you never know there may have been some sig corp ones floating around.

At moemokes just fixing coxys drive shaft from a weekend outing he had a couple of days ago

Thomas is spraying anti rust all over the engine bay so have tried a couple of things to try and stop oil spraying everywhere. Seems to be coming out of oil filler cap so have degreased and will check after next stop

Haven't worked out the reason but have stopped him spitting oil everywhere, she'll be right

I am not sure what trip leader has planned but it a possibility, we are in no rush and there is some country terry wants to see.

No need to rush. There will be plenty of Round Up left whenever you get here. Looks like a good trip

Cracker of a storm last night so our original open campsite was quickly changed to undercover.

The Murrumbateman men's shed verandah, we only just squeezed in.
