Wollombi Wander December 2
« on: November 23, 2017, 06:47:14 PM »
Hosted by the good folk at Rylstone rally...Sydney Moke Owners will be going on the Wollombi wander from the opposite end...it is a Saturday morning cruise. Meeting a BP service station North Richmond at 8:30 for a 9:00 departure. Up the Putty rd at Moke speed to Wollombi tavern and catch up with those speedier mini drivers for lunch..

I'd love to join a moke run, but I'll be at a 100th birthday party for my aunt.  :)

Just a few photos of the great day a few of the Sydney Mokers had on Saturday on the Wollombi Wanders Run We arrived all in tack and caught up with the main group who had travelled down the coast from Newcastle and the Central Coast for lunch at the Wollombi Tavern

Heading north on the Putty Road

After this photo the rain set in and we all got wet Hood or no Hood of course those with no hood got the wettest but all had a great day.

Thanks for putting up the report Al. Looks like a good run. Pity about the rain.

Those first couple of shots with you following Min13r's circus tent Moke look very similar to my view from Sydney to Lithgow a few months back  :) :D

Thanks Newie it was an enjoyable run  :) and the rain only caught us half way home  :D still over an hour for most of us and an hour and a half for Mini13r whose wipers decided to give up :o . He affectionately refers to his Moke as the deck chair ::) .
