Hi Guys and Girls,

Just joined the site, i haven't even taken delivery of my Moke yet, hopefully i will get my hands on it early this week.

I have always had a "thing" for the Moke since the first one i drove back in the 1970's. 

The one i bought is a 1977, 998cc, Californian, well it has a Californian sticker on the bonnet.  The car was restored fairly well about 3 years ago and has only travelled 1400 Klms since.

I will post some pic's when i get it home.

Well welcome aboard Drakman,
If you're not sure of what you have, just post up the first few numbers of your chassis number and the first few numbers of your engine and we can help ID it for you.

I have just been sent a photo of the compliance plate and it clearly states  "Leyland Moke Californian"  and the Vin prefex is 018F.  The engine i am sure is a 998 that has been bored over size, not sure at this stage what size it is out to though.  Engine no started 99H i think.
