Deleting photos in myGallery
« on: June 18, 2018, 01:28:20 PM »
A bit of trial and error going on here wrt uploading photos, especially getting the orientation right. Consequently I need to delete some duplicates but I keep getting a message that says I don’t have permission to do so. Anyone know how to fix please?

Hi MM,

So what I do when I load a pic and it doesn’t orientate correctly is open the pic and tap the edit button.
Then re-elect the pic from wherever your up loading, now ad a value into the rotate pic box, and select save. That should fix the issue.
Not sure if you can go back and edit older pics but give it a go and let us know how you get on.

Cheers,

Al.

PS just checked, you can work on old pics :)

G'day dacjac,

Have tried that approach too, but there is no 'save' button in my photo edit mode. It seems strange to me that you can't preview photos before you commit to the upload, nor can you delete your own photos once their uploaded!

Not sure why the photos take on the orientation they do either!

Cheers,
Greg

Hi again,

So I didn't give the correct info, relying on my memory, I forgot it was failing  ;D

Look at my screen shot below this is on an iPad so may be a bit different depending on what your using.
But once you load your pic and work out its wrong click or tap on the choose file, click same picture from original source, put a value in the rotate image box and then click on the edit picture box.

Good luck

Al

In relation to the doubles you can just use the same process as the way i rotate and put a new / different pic over them.

Hope that helps.
