Qld convoy plans

Started this thread to give Qld folk a central spot to discuss any plans for convoying to and from the 2018 Tamworth Moke Round Up.

Always more fun (and usually less stressful to have a bit of back up) to travel with other Mokers on the way to and from these events if it can be arranged.

Happy to be the first to reply - I'm booked in from Thursday night so will be aiming to arrive at ATP mid afternoon on Thurs 25th October. That means leaving Brisbane Bayside around 8am. I'll be heading down New England Highway (Ipswich, Warwick, Stanthorpe, Tenterfield, Glen Innes, Armidale, Tamworth).

I must be slack, i haven't even looked at a map to see what way we will be going yet.  I think we are leaving on the Thursday.

Just reviving this post. Anyone else travelling from BNE on Thursday morning. Weather permitting, I will be leaving approx 8am and travelling down the New England Highway
