A run to Mt Beauty

[Halfpint]

Had some friends heading back home from Tamworth stop over and we had a little get together for lunch out at Alpine Mokes place near Mt Beauty.
MMD, RogerB, Boydie, Mrs HP and myself drove out to meet Howard and Alpine. A much cooler day than yesterday thats for sure, but blue skies and the great drive out through the Kiewa valley made for a good MOKE run.
We all met at Alpines place and then took off for a short, but spirited run up the Tawonga Gap to a couple of look outs.





Sullivans Lookout isn't the highest, but its a great view over Mt Beauty 





Was really good to see Howard again, seems like just a few months ago we yapped, oh wait a minute, it was 

Then it was back to Alpines for lunch with a few more local Mini and MOKE enthusiasts. Was a top day up there as usual

Yeh had a good day showed the guys what a 1100 can do against the 1275s stayed the night at Alpines ..had a couple extra beers    said my goodbyes to Howard  and cruzed home back to Wodonga. Thanks to Marg & les   What did happen to Freddie Mercury?
