A run to Mt Beauty
« on: November 03, 2018, 10:25:26 PM »
Had some friends heading back home from Tamworth stop over and we had a little get together for lunch out at Alpine Mokes place near Mt Beauty.
MMD, RogerB, Boydie, Mrs HP and myself drove out to meet Howard and Alpine. A much cooler day than yesterday thats for sure, but blue skies and the great drive out through the Kiewa valley made for a good MOKE run.
We all met at Alpines place and then took off for a short, but spirited run up the Tawonga Gap to a couple of look outs.

Sullivans Lookout isn't the highest, but its a great view over Mt Beauty  8)

Was really good to see Howard again, seems like just a few months ago we yapped, oh wait a minute, it was  ;D

Then it was back to Alpines for lunch with a few more local Mini and MOKE enthusiasts. Was a top day up there as usual  8)
Thanks Les and Marg ;)

Looks and sounds like a really good day
Are you sure that "spirited" adequately describes the run up the mountain?

Halfpint took the lead up the gap road, I sort of pushed him a little faster in my

Moke matic. a good drive was had by all.
You never actually own a Moke.
You merely look after it for the next generation.
