Hi,

if you send the image you are trying to upload to contactus@mokeforum.com.au I will take a look at it for you.

Hi Terry and support crew.
Tried before and now trying again today and I am unable to upload photos, seems to be the same issue that Frodo was having in February. Any help available

Thanks

Dev

Dev,

check that you can open the picture on your computer first as a recent issue with that messages turned out to be a corrupt image that couldn't be opened with anything.

If that works then send it to the email address in the earlier post and I will take a look at it.

Well would you believe that, I emailed to myself at full image size 2.8MB but that still wouldn’t load. The I emailed it to myself in a reduce state 868KB and wham bam! Thank mam! The image is in. Looks like I need to reduce my image sizes if I want load them straight from my phone.

Sorry for the trouble.

Dev, the daft one!

Hi,

also check what format your phone is storing them in as some devices save the images as a .png and they tend not to compress and could cause the same message.

Hi there, is anyone else having issues uploading photos at the moment?
I’ve tried to do the same thing I’ve done previously and it says error, not a valid file.

Hi,
Sometimes the file size is too big. Maybe your phone did an update recently and something changed?

Try to clear your cache, this can sometimes work.

It can be caused by the image size being too large as HP suggests, the limit is 3mb. Or if you have resized the image then it is below 1000px wide but still larger than 150kb in which case the automatic resizing wont happen. Resize to about 1200px wide and it will work.

I have found photos taken straight off my Iphone did the same thing.

I ended up screen shoting the photo on my phone and using that and it uploaded straight away. Alot of iphones are set to 'live' photos too which are bigger files as they are essentially short videos.

Ok so I tried what Samm suggested about taking a screenshot of the original iPhone image which made a difference but now it says can’t upload as “you need a picture title”.... but there is one in there so now I’m really confused as this is the first time I’m having issues uploading.
