A BMW Moke, the MINI Moke Story
« on: April 16, 2019, 07:51:01 AM »
Hi,

Looks like BMW is trying to stake ownership in the history of the Moke with this article from 2015  that now appears on the first page or two of Moke searches.

Curious.

They did that MINI Beachcomber concept car a few years back, which had no doors and a Moke inspired grille, but maybe they are thinking about a proper revival. I can picture something based on the AWD countryman with a boxy body and a soft top. Something like the new Suzuki JImny but with removable doors and top.

Stand by for the fight over ownership of the trademark.

Driving a Moke with a hardtop is like having a shower in a raincoat.
