Hi,

I have seen that on the instructions, but never tried it.

If you did go down that route I would suggested using a relay to do the switching to avoid putting the load of the fuel pump through the oil pressure sensor and the relay would allow you to put a switch on the dash to override the oil switch for times when you want to pump up the fuel without the engine running.

The idea behind using the oil pressure switch for the earth is to only have the pump running when the engine is running. So if you crash or run out of oil the pump and then the engine will stop.

Hi Terry
I wired my fuel pump through a relay switched by the ignition, I have just read the intrusions recommending switched by the oil pressure switch so as if you crashed and the engine staled the pump stopped , I thought that is a good safety thing , just thought I would ask what others had done ,
