Can someone post a picture of the stickers that should be under the bonnet of a 78 Californian. TIA John K.

Hi John,

This moke is for sale in Buderim.  It has stickers under the bonnet, i don't know if they are the ones you are looking for though.

Thanks Dave,

Pretty sure that is one of Aarons builds and not doubting the accuracy, but I would like to see some originals just to be sure.

Hi John,

Yeah that looks to be one of Aarons, the mirror supports are a dead giveaway.

Cheers

Hi John, I have the original stickers under the hood of an 81 California. Give me a couple of weeks until I'm back at the weekender where the Moke is stored and will post pictures. Also correct position of the paint sticker (if I remember it's that one) near the radiator in the engine bay.

Thanks "Littleislandmoke" look forward to the pictures.

Where in Gippsland are you - my mother grew up up on a farm "Kardala" near Korumburra. Remember going there for holidays and scraping Mud and Cow Pooh off the gumboots and drinking 47bazillion cups of tea every day (don't drink tea now at all). Also had relations at Poowong on a dairy farm. Great memories of times spent at both properties. Regards John K.

Thanks Shark,

Any chance of a shot showing their location on the underside of the bonnet.

Apologies Ozmini but I don't have a photo of that. When the bonnet is up, the tyre pressure sticker is in the bottom left corner and the emmision information is on the bottom middle from memory.

These are the stickers on my 1980 moke.  You wouldn't by chance getting reproductions made?

moke123, Can't for the life of me remember where I got the stickers (TireSizes) from. Grant Walsh in Sydney would be worth a try (look him up on facebook)

I am still waiting for someone to post a photo of an original under bonnet so I know what I need and where they go.

If Dad is looking for someone to talk to about the local Mini/Moke Scene suggest he get in contact with Vancouver Mini Club, in particular Rick Higgs. Rick doesn't have a Moke but I know that some of his Mini Mates do. We went around Australia in 2011 with Rick & his wife Elaine in 2 Minis and he is very well known in Canada and the USA in Mini circles.

The position of the stickers on Kudu is the original positions.

Hi John,

This is the sticker placement on The Red One (1980) which by the way still has it's original paintwork.
Is it possible that the stickers were placed in slightly different positions by different workers on the factory floor? ....just a question??
