international Moke Day 28/29 September 2019
« on: September 01, 2019, 09:11:34 PM »
Spring has sprung and the blooms will be out, so come and join us for a Moking trip around our capital city, Canberra and the surrounds.
We will be meeting for dinner on Saturday night at 6:30pm @ Suppeto Collective in Jerrabomberra NSW. If you arrive early enough on Saturday afternoon, you could take in the sights of the beautiful Floriade, which will be in full bloom.
For the overnight stay, there are a variety of accommodation options in Queanbeyan which is only a short drive from Jerrabomberra.
If you need breaky or a good coffee before the run, Suppeto Collective is open for breakfast and is only a short walk to the Jerrabomberra Community Centre.
Be  fuelled up and be ready to go from the Jerrabomberra Community Centre at 0830 for a 0900 start.
We will take you on an interesting drive around the ACT, stopping for lunch at the Cotter Dam (which we will provide, hopefully a sausage sizzle) finishing the Canberra leg at the top of Mount Ainslie.
Remember to pack a jacket as the weather can be unpredictable.
Please indicate if you will be joining us for dinner on Saturday night so that we can confirm numbers with the restaurant.
We are pleased to be your hosts for the 2019 IMD
Deanne and Andrew.
