Also SA & WA, and summer has only just started  :(
Very sad to see all the damage these fires are causing.

I hear OldFart has evacuated from near Jervis Bay, not sure what Mazy is doing.
I'm sure there must be other moke owners affected by this disaster so stay safe please.

Hi,

Yep, what can you you say about the current horrid bushfire situation......and you never know where they'll rear up next.

During December we made the big move from the South Coast of NSW to the Mid North Coast of NSW. At that time the fires were bad up here and were not so widespread or catastrophic down there. Things then took a turn for the worse, with much of our home region of 20 years now alight, the fires having become catastrophic and deadly.

Our thoughts also are with all those in the vicinity and or path of the fires. I have no further useful words to add as we, like everyone, are truly devastated at what we've seen and heard. We all must follow the advisements and act accordingly.....

Thanks Mazy, Moe & Tasmoken for your thoughts and wishes. We’re all safe in this neck of the woods.

A fire is still burning terribly close to us; the same fire that jumped containment lines about a week ago and burnt many acres of my place :( .

I’d like to make it known that both Newie and Team Mechanic have a hidden talent : amazing prowess in the art of fire fighting  :) . Thanks guys.

As I said, all safe but very uncomfortable and weary.

Best wishes to all in the many fire regions, and above all stay safe.
