The Cool Kids List

Following a great initial response to our call for registrations just under a week ago (we're at 13 starters plus Newie and myself already  ) we thought it's about time we started our traditional Cool Kids post (aka Registered prospective attendees of Moke Round Up 2020).

Everyone wants to be one of the Cool Kids don't they? All the Cool Moke kids will be in Tamworth this October, so if your Mum (or equivalent permission granter) wont let you come, now's the time to start with the "Everyone else is going to be there","Everybody else gets to go" and of course the classic "It's not fair!!!" and start wearing them down. Then register by going to  www.mokeroundup.com.au/registration.html and you'll get on to the Cool Kids List!

It may also help to encourage you when you see how many of your mates are going.

We'll keep updating it from here on in, so that people can check to see which of their Moke buddies will be there, and we've also found in the past that it helps a lot with organising convoys for the trip to Tamworth and home again. For that reason, we've split the list up according to the attendees' home states and regions.

If you would rather your name does not appear publicly on the list for some reason, by all means let us know and we'll remove it and let you come along unannounced. For obvious reasons, we will only be listing people by their Forum names or nick names. If you want more personal info you will have to PM them and they can decide how much they want to disclose.

The latest registration from Round Up regular Dave G has bumped the number of registrations to 20, which is great to see and would already make for a fantastic event, but we know there are more of you out there that just haven't gotten around to registering yet....

The sooner the better, particularly with the accommodation booking, to make sure you get what you want/need.

Wow, there's been a few more registrations since Newie's post above. 

Just a reminder that when we update the Cool Kids List, the post won't show as updated on the home page and in "recent posts" - you'll need to actually look at the list to see if it's been updated (or just check the "last update by" at the bottom of the list).

We are still planning that the Round Up will go ahead, and fingers crossed that we are through the worst of the COVID-19 and it's restrictions.

We'll keep everyone posted, and as Newie said in another post this evening :

Cool Kids List just updated....

The inevitable has happened and the last of our interstaters have withdrawn from this year’s Round Up. We praise them for their optimism and hope though!

To add insult to injury for them, it was announced today that some of the restrictions within NSW are easing from Friday.

To everyone who can’t make it, stay safe and hopefully we’ll catch up at a Moke event in the near future (another Round Up maybe?).

Hi everyone lucky enough to make it to the roundup this year. Sadly we are non starters (Mokercar and Wilma, She is so disappointed to not be going that she kicked me in the shin with her tow bar). We hope that you all have a blast and it's a memorable time for all the right reasons. All the best and I'll miss the social gathering at the end of the drive where we had jokes and some postmortems about the days events. Great bunch.
