All weather cover for Moke?
« on: June 15, 2020, 04:04:17 AM »
All:

Who makes a waterproof car cover that fits a Moke with a full roll cage? I’ve looked on eBay & some say they fit but when pressed for photos/how well they fit all I get it ‘it’ll fit, it fits lots of cars. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi Kenningtons,

I think Mini and Moke world in Sydney sell a Moke specific cover, cost is a bit out there for my tastes, $500 AUD.  I do believe the cover is something pretty special though.

I just bought a generic small car cover and it fits well.  Cost about $80 AUD.

Cheers
Dave

Hi,

are you storing it inside or outside?

A calico based cover is fine if you are trying to keep the dust off indoors but don't last long in the weather.

This Little Piggy on this Forum had a contact that was making outdoor covers a few years ago and a few of us have them and they have worked well, haven't heard any complaints. It was made of a woven pvc type of material.

Outside. I’d like to get a dust cover for when it’s in the garage, but a waterproof cover would work for both.

As an owner of two of these covers from This Little Piggy, I can vouch that they do indeed work well and stand up to use outside.

Hi,

given your location I think it would be easier/cheaper to take your Moke to a local upholsterer and ask them to make an outdoor weather cover for the Moke.

Hello everyone.

No covers left from last bulk order. Maybe time to make another order?

If there is enough interest, I shall organise more to be made.

No idea of colours or price at this early stage.

Watch this space. I will get back here after the weekend.
