Diff and Side Cover Bushes Running Clearance?
« on: July 02, 2020, 05:25:58 PM »
In the process of rebuilding my diff (https://www.mokeforum.com.au/index.php?topic=14053.15).  The bushes in the side covers, crown wheel and diff carrier need to be replaced and then reamed to size.  What running clearance should I be aiming for?

Cheers, Graham

Hi,
I usually go with about .001ā€ to .0015ā€ (1 to 1.5 thou) of running clearance.
I think the manual say .0015ā€ clearance, but Iā€™d have to try and find to check.
