Diff and Side Cover Bushes Running Clearance?
«

In the process of rebuilding my diff (

). The bushes in the side covers, crown wheel and diff carrier need to be replaced and then reamed to size. What running clearance should I be aiming for?
Cheers, Graham

Hi,
I usually go with about .001ā to .0015ā (1 to 1.5 thou) of running clearance.
I think the manual say .0015ā clearance, but Iād have to try and find to check.
