I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.

Thanks Terry,

That was very interesting, chatting face to face like that.  I guess as people find out about it i will have to book in.

I imagine if you can keep doing zoom face to face a lot of people will learn from watching as you go about working on Mokes.

Cheers
Dave

A great idea Terry and very innovative, tried to drop in today but zoom will not work for me. I am trying to work it out.
The issue is my end as I have tried  before to no avail.
Cheers, Dave

There is a browser only option for Zoom, meaning you don't have to download the Zoom client onto your computer which may be part of your issue.

If you follow the link for the meeting it will open a web page in your browser. if you click on Launch Meeting it will try and start the Zoom client, but it also pops up an extra option on the web page to launch the browser only interface.

I am currently in a Google Meet meeting at the moment and the Free option there allows for 1 hour meetings, Zoom only has 40 minute fee meetings, so we might try out that service another time.

It was fun wasn't it, but not very productive but we can work that out.

The idea isn't for people to watch me or me to present anything, it is just providing a common time for people to meet up like you and Rod did today and talk about what we are working on. It is more fun/interesting if other people can get a connection from their workshop/garage so we can have a squiz and we can try out a few different formats and times and see if we find something that really suits people.

Thanks for playing today.

Thanks Terrry, I get all that, I have tried various ways, the general concensus is an unstable internet connection as we live in a fringe area re signal.

Drakman,

an answer to the question about the COVID requirements for interstate truck drivers, https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/vehicles/vehicle_regulation/files/freight-movement-code-for-the-domestic-border-controls.pdf

A bit lengthy but lots of testing, PPE and recording of who they come in contact with.

Great idea to have the online meetings like this.  I’ll miss the one you have planned because I am away from home, but I’ll keep checking in to see when the next one is.  Now I just need to make sure I have the time difference al figured out...

It was good catching up with you guys earlier today. Shame our internet coverage is so poor here, but hey, thats the price of living in the bush. No real complaints here.
A great idea of Terrys , we will have to do it  again.
Cheers, Dave
