Hey everyone
Just needing some information on a engine I just purchased for my little wheeler moke build, it is engine # F3 l 167811
Will this work with my 1966 moke? I can’t find any information on the prefix F3

Hi,
That’s good to have found an engine.
Have you got any pictures of the engine and gearbox?
I couldn’t find that prefix either. Must find the book later though.

Historical information tells ue that all A series engine numbers will start with a number which gives the engine size.
Not that there are not some strange markings out there. If you could take a good close up pic of the number we may be able to decipher it more closely. As well as some more general pics of the engine.

I still have no idea about the engine number but I think you have a longitudinal engine there. The engine mounts and the lack of gearbox would suggest it is from a Minor et al.

Hi Scrivo,
No this engine wont fit a Moke. As Steam said, it's for a rear wheel drive Morris Minor most likely.
