Hello folks some time ago spotted a video on the MED Engineering site discussing the differences between the A series 1275 blocks fitted to Moke’s and Midgets and Sprites https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9sxy1pUq83Y

Thought this may be of interest in relation to the Engine Validation thread

From a non technical perspective it appears there are a couple of important considerations.  The MED video is focused on engine block.  The crankshaft is different for the in line and transverse configurations. No doubt the cost would not be inconsequential.  If it can be done in UK then no doubt it can be done in Australia.  Not sure how this may apply to other A Series engine blocks.

Cheers

That's an interesting video. Not had anything to do with these engines before.
MED have a few good video's that I've seen before, really informative.

Cheers
