Wiring up ACR16 alternator
« on: January 05, 2021, 03:05:38 PM »
Hi everyone, I just purchased a 1971 export however she has been pretty well mutilated in areas...the alternator is there however all wiring is missing can anyone enlighten me what I need to do to wire it up so it will charge the battery? (by the way nothing in the instruments are working either no lights nothing)
There are wires cut all over the place.

Maybe better to just rip everything out and start a fresh???

Thanks

I wish I had a good picture to show you how things should be set up.... however my Moke is like most others and has had 'attention' over the years by previous owners.  Someone on here will be able to provide a good wring diagram or some pics.  The new harnesses are relatively inexpensive and are supposed to be of good quality.
