Braided flexible oil line

A quick question for the gurus.
Any one have comments or views about using one of those flexible oil lines from block to oil filter.
 Expensive.

Hi T.O.M,

I have one on mine, I got it from Keith Calver, I think it was about $80.  I got it because it has a larger internal diameter and i could get around the vac advance unit easier.

Similar , but not the exact thing.  I have just had pirtek make me up some from Blue , 150 degree oil line with curved 90 degree connectors ( no sharp corners to go around - you can pick your fittings )   (Note not the braided stainless outer type just heavy duty oil line )


Mine goes from where the filter would sit to an oil cooler-   price similar $95.  I am pretty sure mine is bigger diameter --- look at the remote oil kit on a certain UK mini shop site to get an idea

Hi T.O.M,

This is what i used.  I drilled out the filter head passage ways along with the connectors as well.

This one is stainless wrapped though, hmm gone up a bit i think.
