Wiper wiring and 2 hooks on fire wall...?
« on: March 30, 2021, 06:24:38 PM »
Hi guys I'm thinking how to word this as I'm typing but I have 2 hooks spot welded in the centre of the fire wall inside and I have no idea what there for. First thought was heater. But am I wrong thinking the heater was mounted under the left shelf. And also I have wiring from the main harness to the wiper switch on colour . And then almost an identical plug near the same spot. I thought this would be ing switch. But I have no wires to the wiper motor.
Oh should add 11/80 moke.  Not that I'm near wiring really at the end of the horrid r word and near paint.
Cheers
Alex

Hi Alex,
The hooks support the back of the heater on a 1980 Moke (top photo in the link below)

For the last year or two, they fitted a different heater which didn't use the hooks such as the second picture here https://www.mokeforum.com.au/index.php?topic=11116.0

Awesome thank you. Was completely different to what I was thinking.
Can you buy the defog vents. I have the panel. No vents for the screen or heater. I was planning on using electric heat in place of a heater core.
