TLP,

That show with the pink Moke in it, has been on the ABC for a while now and features in the series allot!
I know this as every time its on the TV my kids scream from the lounge room.......Dad the Mokes on again ;D
Yes this Moke was on Ebay about 6 months ago, then in the Trading post and went from there I think.
I have a feeling it was in the Blue Mountains when it was for sale last.

I watched a french comedy, called "l'enquete Corse", in it, a car gets blown up (like everything in corsica..) and lands on the hero's rental Cagiva Moke   :'( :'( :'( smashing it down.

Not sure whether this is a TV moke or movie moke but I saw it on the small screen. Has anyone else mentioned it ? Was on Austar last night. The movie was "Stork" starring Bruce Spence, Graham Blundell and Jackie Weaver.

Jackie Weaver was driving and gangly Spence was contorted into the front seat. The moke was a standard model with a red paint job and it looked like it had been round the block a few times. Had the spare mounted on th bonnet and some sort of mutant bullbar fabricated for the front. If you were up in Cape York trying to fend of Cape Buffalo's it might have been appropriate !!. Movie was made in 1971 so was a fairly early model of our beloved beast.

If we are straying into the realm of Mokes in movies, you can't go past the Australian movie "Ricky and Pete" which features a moke with a contraption on the back that delivers newspapers by folding them into paper planes and fires them.  The closing scene has HEAPS of Mokes in it owned by MOA members back then.

There's also "As Time goes By" a very weird movie about an alien (Max Gillies) who has crashed his 1950s Diner in the outback. The hero gets around in a borrowed Moke.

Hi,

Just watching in the backgorund the Queensland Variety Club Bash special on Channel Ten and have seen about 4 seconds of a Moke in it. Called the Rat it has done about 3-4 of these events.

I have sent an email to the owner, Len, asking if he has some pictures of his Moke in action.

We were watching it as well today when I got home from work. Wifey said that they kept missing the best car as well. I wanted to see the RAT take on the challenges, seemed to only want to tape the cars that didn't quite make it through.
Obviouse to me, the RAT must have ace'd it all ;D
Cheers

Nah, good call and right place, if there is such a thing.  Had a mate from the Darling Downs ring me the other day saying that on Funny Home Videos, a moke was featured with the Easter Bunny Falling out of the back.  Did not get to see it tho.  Anyone?

Reviving an old one here but today I saw a trailer for AFHV that is on this weekend and got a brief view of a blue Moke. Maybe the same show being repeated? (tv guide says it's a new episode though) It's on Ch9 at 6:30pm this Saturday.

I think even though they say it's a 'new episode' they still use old clips, probably the
only new thing in the show is the pretty girl compare  ;D
will keep an eye on the show anyway.

Got a glimpse of a white Moke today on another advert. This time it was for CH7's "Way-Out, Weird and Wonderful Queensland Events" which airs at 6:30 on Saturday.

Recently I had heard of the moke shown on the Man Woman Wild show so had to find the episode to watch it.

Such a sad sight half buried in the ash where it has sat for over 15 years on Montserat... although I couldn't help cracking up when Mykel sent Ruth after a battery and she immediately opened the bonnet and she started talking about how the battery was missing.
