Newspaper ad, March 1974

During a cleanup today my mum found some old papers and featuring in both of them was an ad for mini world in melbourne.







When i work out how i can get the whole ad in one pic and big enough to read ill post it up again.

May reach a $1 a gallon? If only I was alive then...my annual fuel bill would likely be the cost of a couple of tanks full today!

I don't think I'm much older than you Ian and I can remember fuel being 17.5cents a litre.  Must admit I was in the back seat in those days and many years away from driving.  And 17.5cent a litre is only a little under a $1 per litre

I traded my first Moke in on a mini from Mini World, brings back sad memories.
Speaking of petrol, my Moke was a new '77 model and it couldn't take $2 worth of petrol even when empty. Oh for the good old days.
