G'day Casper,
it has a hole under it. I guess its to hear better?
it also has this little strip 3cm x9cm sown just below horizontal
in the middle of the back. I'm not sure what its for. Probably to
flap about and annoy the heck out of you.           smoken

Weird... I wonder if it has something to do with spoiling the airflow
over it to stop it lifting off your head. Or am I thinking too hard? :-\

When Piggy and I were looking at that top flap we assumed it must be a handle to take it off your head  ???

Maybe if your heads a bit shiney (like mine) the suction might be a bit strong  ;D

Thought the flaps over the ear holes looked a little less awkward than the alternative.  would make you look like a Teletubby :D

The Flap on the back is to stop your goggles sliding off over the top

Today, August 1.
Went for a IMD test run with Boydy and his Mokin hat. ;D Behind his big grin ( Obviously from being in the Moke) is the Hume Weir wall. Just the start of the run for IMD 2010 North East Victoria. BTW, he reckons the hat was warm, and between 5 and 7 degrees outside at 2pm this arvo. Also the ear pieces blocked out a fair bit of noise, aparently the left side is better(no idea what he means by this ;)) Weather was typical of an IMD run of late.
I'm weaing the standard beanie outside the coasie interior of a good working late model Moke heater(Keeps the chill off anyway).
Everyone welcome to come along.

Cheers
