If smoken lives in QLD he dont need to wory about a fork lift  can wait for the floods to come and Float them off the trailer .
I saw one of them listed on ebay he must be trying to sell them quickly befor the Flood waters rise and float them away

Dev I have one of thoughs floor pans listed on ebay at the moment you can send regular paost for about $16 any one interested can knock one up in about 2 hours

Yes.
and its not easy...Its well put in, as it is made for the seats and give the body extra strength..
so when you put it back in weld it in good...

Struth Fred you have been busy, it wasn't like that when I was there this arvo ;D

The moke has some rather nasty rust in the tunnel underneath the seat crossmember
so thats why Fred's removed it

Did you drill out the spot welds?

Hi,

If the cross member has the body id on it, as many mid 70's do, then you need to have a VASS inspection because it has been removed. Learn't that one the other day from my Mr VASS. :)

Drilled all the spot welds to take the cross member out  to give me better acces to fix the rust hole under cross member .
Tery would love to Know more about what you were saying I am hoping I can get away with out engeeer report on boath Mokes if you do such a good job you cant even tell it has been taken out
