« on: April 17, 2011, 10:44:51 AM »
Hi guys, don't normally use this forum, (i use ausmini) so I hope this is in the correct thread..  :-[

My mate and I spotted at Moke yesterday at Kootingal just outside Tamworth from our route from Brissy,, I know your on here somewhere, i saw the website stickers  ;D

I'm wondering if it was you Newie?

Whoever it was saw us etc... My mate took so long to take a picture of you and your plate, that the guy behind us got a little angry he couldn't pass,  :-[ but im sure he will get over it..

I have your number plate and number and will expose it if you don't appear!!

Was a very nice looking, well looked after Moke shall I add :)

Not me Lockie. I'm down to just a couple of unregistered Mokes again  :'(

KMC guys have a white Cali and a dark green big wheeler that usually gets around topless. Don't remember seeing website stickers on them, but could be.
There are also two others I know of based in Tamworth who are not on the forum (as far as I know). One "mature age" Moker in I think a yellow (?) Cali and a young guy in a Moke of unknown colour as last I heard he was having it resprayed.

Could be someone on the way to the Muster. Can you give us a colour and maybe just the letters on the number plate to narrow it down?

Looks like a travelling Moker on the way to Wagga to me.

The big air cleaner on the front looks familiar, but I can't place who owns it. Not local as far as I know. Very nice though  :)

yeah you could be right. I do remember the Moke was looking fairly full. There was a guy driving it, and a wife or girlfriend in the passenger, and I think there may have even been 1 or 2 kids in the back.. didn't get a huge look, but I loved the deep dish wheels, it really was tough looking. :)

Whoever it is, is definitely on here somewhere...  :D the stickers were on the front windscreen obvious as day :P

I knew you lived in the area, so I instantly thought it would be you.. :) however I didn't know about the muster till now.. ;D.. I hope you guys have sealed cabins, haha, cos even in my van the pooring rain found its way in, in some spots...

Oh and thanks maddog for the edit of the pics, much appreciated!! :)

Here's a photo of it from the front, taken arriving at the lookout during the Round Up last year.

Will be embarrassing if I get it wrong, but is it Dave G's (from Coffs Harbour I think)?

Wish it was mine - a very nice Moke

I could have sworn that the sticker on the front said, the moke forum, but you flew past I couldn't tell exactly. Turns out your on here anyway.  ;D Your mug shot is also on ausmini.com.  :D
