Poh's Kitchen On The Road........IN A MOKE!
« on: August 11, 2011, 07:56:36 AM »
Saw an Ad last night on ABC1 for the new series of Poh's Kitchen on the road...... yes, she was driving around the countryside in a red Moke!
The new series starts on Wed 24th August at 8pm, and in it, at least in the first episode it would seem, she's driving around SA on her culinary adventures in style! I haven't watched the show before but it seems I will tune in this time....

Watched it but not much of the moke, about the same as in the promo vid but it looks like it started to rain
so she woosed out and went for a Toyota Rav 4, she was on the Eyre Penisular.

Next week she's in Tassie but driving an old VW convertible :(

The Moke must have been in the first ten minutes, which I missed.

I didn't see it at all.

I don't mind a Beetle being on the show next week, even if it is a non-genuine chop job.  :)

Hi,

I thought I had posted this a week or so ago but couldn't find it, so apologies if it is mentioned elsewhere.

The Moke belongs to a friend of minie whom I help find his Moke back in 2005. It was at the 2006 Muster and the owner has a Canadian Accent. Jon B. works in the wine industry as an engineer type on the production of wine.

And for some further trivia on the Moke, it was used in the first two series of McLoeds Daughters in its orginal colour of White before Jon purchased it.
