Welcome Clint, is the green postie moke in Gippsland?
I thought I had saved some photos of it but can't find them atm, I'd be interested in more details to add to the Australian Moke Register.

It would be interesting that it is next in line to 9139
1976 Moke 1275cc (Dynky),
1976 Moke(Scarlet) current project,
1974 Moke with Suzuki GTI motor (project),
1975 Moke rust bucket,
1967 Moke rust bucket

We’ll look what happens when a work mate show you an add on Gumtree.

A week later you realise that this Moke for sale was produced 9 Mokes later than your other Postie Moke and they really should be closer together again.

So after a few years away from playing with my Mokes, House Reno’s, working hard, you know all those brownie point earning things. I spoke briefly to SWOMBY about this body shell I’d found in Hobart

Then all of a sudden we were on a road trip

Shortly later the savings account was looking very poor again and we having a roadside  stop a pub in the way home. With an extra passenger on the back.

Good work Ant,
I hope you will be able to restore it quickly  :), but it takes time when you are passionate about these things  ;)

Hi Terry,
You may have worked by now too, the purple wreck Moke that was listed on Gumtree a few years ago, is in fact the very same Moke that I picked up a few months ago, from a sand blasting company and is now sitting where Morton sat for the last 5 or 6 years. It is very unfortunate that what looked like half reasonable floors to rebuild, we’re simply cut out a replace by very dodgy flat steel plate.  Before or during a sandblasting treatment.  All I can say for its future is, it is sitting safely in my dry shed ready for when I get to my next stage of Postie Moke building.

Further on the Tassie Postie Moke scene is or was, last week a local North West Coast lad, Corey Smith, bought a Postie Moke from up the coast, that I heard about years ago and lost track of. I’ll be staying in touch and see where things go with this one. Post away with you progress Corey!

Further updates on the Tassie collection of Postie Mokes and their future. Well as for Corey and his hopes of joining the world of Moking and caring for the Postie Moke history.  Well unfortunately it wasn’t to be and he has had to put the needs of his daughters and family first.
So his ambitions of build this Moke have passed to me. Though I am struggling to see how I am going to have time to finish all these projects that I keep acquiring. I roped Paul and Lyn in to help me but my dreams might be too much for all of us together. Although at this point I’m not actively looking to sell my Mokes I am open to discussing further with anyone who has an interest in restoring a Tassie Postie Moke.  If you think you can build a piece of history you might end up owning you own Postie Moke.

I currently have a very good collection of Bodies, Canopies and a lot of the bits.

When I started this project it was going to be a twenty year project and I think I’m about ten years in so far.
