First of all - welcome to Mokes Inc. We hope you will enjoy your stay, and share with us your Moke experience.

 If you are new to forums or just new to the Mokes Inc forum, here are a few things you need to know and answers to the most asked questions. For more information on all sorts of things, please read through the rest of the topics in the Forum Information Board

Registered V's Standard

When you first sign up to the forum, you will start as a Registered Member with limited access to some features and boards. On your first post you will get a message that it has to be approved. This is normal, and doesn't mean we don't want your post! It is simply to prevent spamming. As long as you are not trying to sell us cheap pharmaceuticals or Rolex watches, your post will not be changed. Once we know you are a real person , you will be upgraded to a Standard Member with full access.

Your first two posts will also require verification, and again this is simply an anti spam measure.

If you don't have access to a particular forum feature, then this is most likely the reason. Details on being upgraded are coming.

Forum Rules

These can be pretty much summed up by saying "Play Nice". For more specific information, please read the Forum Rules and Guidelines. 

Adding an Avatar

Avatars are the small photos under your user name. To add one, full instructions can be found in Adding an Avatar. 

Just remember others will soon recognise you by your avatar - so don't change it too often. And bright fast moving GIF's can be annoying.

Location

Adding your location to your profile is a good idea. Not only does it help us give advice on parts and services, but can help you meet other Mokers in your area.

Introductions

This is completely optional, but what better way to  get to know your fellow Mokers! Moke Chat is the best place to start, or if you have a Moke you are working on then maybe start an Around The Garage thread. Just be warned - we like photos!

Boards

Each board has a detailed description as a sticky at the top, but here's a quick rundown -

Moke Chat - Anything that has to do with Mokes, but doesn't  quite belong in any other board.

Moke Help - The place for any questions or problems relating to your Moke.

Around The Garage - This is where you can start your own topic for your moke  or restoration project, and add to it as it progresses.

FAQ's -  Links to the most helpful topics and most asked questions.

Moke Events Calender - A list of upcoming Moke events.

Moke Events Chat - An area for chat about upcoming events, or reports and photos for us all to enjoy.

The Sump - Somewhere to talk about things other than Mokes.

The Mokes Inc. Trading Post - A place to buy, sell or swap Moke parts.

Moderators/Custodians

The small group of Moke enthusiasts that help with the smooth running of the forum. If you have any problems or questions, please contact any of us for help by clicking on the names below.

Personal Messages

PM's are a great way to contact other forum members. They can't be read by anyone else, so they are the best way to provide personal  details like phone numbers, emails and addresses.

To send one, either  click on the PM icon under a members name, or go to My Messages and type in the members name.

Posting Photos

Mokes Inc. has it's own gallery for you to upload photos to, and all standard members  have their own area to store and sort them. We encourage you to make full use of this by clicking on the "Gallery" button under your sign in, and have a look in "My Gallery" .
