Text size changes after emoticon use.
« on: August 17, 2012, 07:07:29 PM »
Hi,
Not a biggie, but very annoying all the same ??? !
But sometimes when I use an emoticon, the text that follows has a "Font Size" change to the smaller " 8 " size :o .
Seems a bit random which one does it ::) but even when I highlight the text and change the size back to 10, the brackets to indicate a change will appear in the post >:( , thing is, every time I go to replicate the fault, it doesnt happen ::)
Its only started to happen since the change over to the new software :-[

HP,

We have solved this issue before and it was to do with a setting in your profile. I will get back to you with the fix later today or tomorrow.

HP,

I found the post from last time, https://www.mokeforum.com.au/index.php/topic,8759.msg104646.html#msg104646

And from reading that it says the issue is related to using the WYSIWYG editor so perhaps try updating your profile and and either switching it on or off depending on what you currently have ticked to see if that alters things for you.

Let me know how you go.

Hi HP,

Normally font size should be in points, as in [ size=10pt]Text[/size] - but without the space before the first size. For some reason yours is showing as a percentage, which won't be recognised as BB code and so shows as text.

I turned WYSIWYG off in your profile last night, so see if that helps. Sorry - should have let you know, but went to bed..... :-[ ;)

Cheers, MD.

Ok, thanks MD. Have gone back and turned it off again. It happened just before in an email, so that explains it.
Cheers
