ADR, it's a wonder you haven't seen the Minibeast yet, I'm in the next suburb!

I went to 2 auto spares this morning. Only had a limited time as I was on RFS duty this afternoon. No go with the full kit, at either place but bought a replacement motor. Doesn't face the right way, but when I connected it up the motor ran. So tonight I will take off the old motor, and the copious amounts of silicone, and attach the new one, also with copiuos amounts of silicone to seal it up. So long as it passes rego tomorrow, I can then take my time to find the motor that faces the right way, and get a proper grommet for where the intake goes in the bottle.

Best news today. Washer bottle holds water and squirts. Rego inspection done and all passed. Another year of moking ahead.  ;D

I'll have to change the water hose as it is beginning to perish, but thats a job for when the minibeast comes back home permanently, as it looks a bit fiddly to get at the squirter part.

Normally it's hard to go back to work after a few days off, but today I had a nice well travelled cardboard box waiting for me. A short drive this afternoon, and I got the last few bits locally.  I'll soon be riding in comfort!  :)

Oh, nearly forgot, the mini beast is home again after it's holiday away in a strange garage. I've driven it every day since Friday :) (couldn't help myself) :)

Well the recent long weekend saw Spider and I doing the suspension on the minibeast. We had time to do the front and the back. It seemed that all the parts were probably still original  :o. I'll put up the full story with some picccies soon, but in the mean time suffice to say we took out pancakes and put in doughnuts.  ;) After also finding the shocks were set at their hardest setting, we also adjusted them and I left driving a new moke.  ;D ;D Many thanks to Spider for his time and instruction. I learn't lots and had a great time getting my hands dirty... and yes there is a photo to prove it. lol

Good onya for having a go at tackling the suspension Mellow.
Not a fun job, but with the help of someone like Spider giving up his skills and time for you, you cant go wrong, and I bet it was done in almost no time at all ;D

Its amazing what a big difference it makes to the whole feel of the Moke when its done though 8)

Smooth Moking now.

Hi Mellow, Just saw the pic of your new donuts and was wondering where you got them. I am in the process of refurbing my front end  on 67 little wheeler. Did you get them in Aus or import them from UK ?
Cheers MP

Hi Money Pit, I got them from Mini Spares in the UK. I got all my suspension bits there except the hilo's which I got from Karkraft in Sydney.
The Part number for the donuts was  FAM3968 - CONE SPRING RUBBER ALL MINIS METRIC THREAD ONLY
